About Dr. Sonja Ogletree Satani
Dr. Sonja Ogletree Satani is a dedicated leader, Air Force veteran, esteemed professor, and accomplished business expert with a passion for service and community empowerment. She brings over three decades of experience in leadership training, business management consulting, and organizational development to her candidacy for the South Carolina State House of Representatives District 98.
As a seasoned professional, Dr. Ogletree Satani has honed her expertise in various sectors, including public relations, manufacturing, human resources, and government contracting. Her diverse background encompasses roles in international public relations, community organizing, and military and government contracting. She is a professor at ECPI University and has taught in both public and private schools.
Dr. Ogletree Satani's commitment to excellence is evident in her educational achievements. She holds a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix, a double MBA in Human Resource Management and Health Care Management from American Intercontinental University, and a BA in Spanish from Wright State University. Additionally, she has earned a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University. Her dedication to continuous improvement is further demonstrated by her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Throughout her career, Dr. Ogletree Satani has been a catalyst for positive change, both in her professional endeavors and her community involvement. She served as the 2021-2023 Chair of the I-HOPE Women’s Business Center Advisory Board in Charleston, SC, where she championed women's entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.
Dr. Ogletree Satani's entrepreneurial spirit is exemplified by her founding of Corporate Cycle Consulting, LLC, where she has assisted countless individuals and businesses in achieving their strategic goals and optimizing their operations. Her dedication to fostering collaboration and communication has been instrumental in her role as the 2017-2018 National President of the American Business Women’s Association and the 2019-2022 Chair of the South Carolina Area Council of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA).
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Ogletree Satani is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, having served her country with distinction. She has been recognized for her leadership and service, receiving accolades such as the 2013 Charleston County Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Small Business of the Year and the 2016 ABWA Top Ten Business Woman award.
